Family migration to New Zealand

New Zealand's family migration category is designed to enable New Zealand citizens or residents to be joined by their eligible spouses, partners, parents, siblings and children. It also allows New Zealand citizens or residents to sponsor family members abroad to live in New Zealand. The overall objective of family category policy is to strengthen families and communities while reinforcing the Government's overall objectives in immigration policy.
