Isle of Man attracts workers from 80 countries

The multi-cultural nature of modern Mannin has been revealed with new figures showing Isle of Man work permits were issued last year to nationals from more than 80 countries.

About 9,500 work permits were issued or renewed in 2009, just under 70 per cent of them to people from the UK.
